Background

Anholt evaluates and manages the investment interests of The Kattegat Trust (“Kattegat”) worldwide.  Anholt is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kattegat, and our management team has been working with Kattegat since 1998.  Anholt does not provide services for any other parties.  Kattegat is organized as a Bermudian charitable trust whose purpose is to promote the advancement of the world’s merchant marine industry through support of maritime education, safety and cultural heritage.  Kattegat executes this vision through the TK Foundation.

About the TK Foundation

The TK Foundation is a private independent foundation organized in the Bahamas. The Foundation is named for Torben Karlshoej and is dedicated to furthering those causes that were important to him. The TK Foundation invests in programmes that:

  • Enable disadvantaged youth to maximize their capabilities through pathways such as education, training and life skills with a view to becoming self sufficient; and/or
  • Promote knowledge of the seas and oceans, and strengthen maritime safety and security for the betterment of individuals, communities and the environment.
